TOM KUBISIAK Tom Kubisiak (pronounced Koob -eee-shock) , has been delivering clever, relevant and thoughtful singing and songwriting in Portland, Oregon and the greater Northwest since the early 1980's. His solo guitar playing and vocals, cover a range from gentle ballads to humorous topics to social commentary. Tom's songwriting reflects an eclectic mix of musical styles incorporating elements of folk, country, and blues. These songs consistently reveal a good story, painting pictures of life's pleasures, difficulties and turns of events. The lyrics- insightful, critical, humorous and compassionate combine with the music to produce a commentary that reflects Tom's world view.

T & O Railroad

American folk music and fun songs for kids, families and all music lovers.

T & O Railroad, a trio performing music for kids, families and all music lovers, consists of Tom Kubisiak (guitar and vocals), Bill Oliver (banjo, guitar and vocals), and Bill Larkins ( guitar, melodica, harmonica, and vocals).
The music performances are of American folk music, traditional children's music and many of the good old songs you know and love. Audience participation is an integral part of every performance, including sing-alongs, rounds, sequence/repetition and physical movement.
The band was originally formed in 1986 and quickly gained popularity with many performances at local concerts, schools and festivals.This success lead to the recording of their first album, "All Aboard" in 1990. The group's expanded popularity increased it's performance schedule in the 1990's with appearances at the N.W. Folklife Festival in Seattle, Portland's Artquake, The Bite, and Pioneer Courthouse Square. Other Northwest shows include The Slice of Summer Concert Series in Canby, Tyron Creek State Park in Lake Oswego , The Oregon Folklife Festival in Corvallis, Portland Children's Museum and The Lewis and Clark Railway excursions. "On Track", the band's second album was released in 1993 . in this album the music expanded with the inclusion of didjeridu, accordion and Celtic harp.
T & O Railroad continues to lay down new track, performing original songs, as well as cover the great music of Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Stephen Foster, Elizabeth Cotton, Bill Staines and others.
